TSA Toddler Terror: Family Marched Off Plane; 18-Month-Old On No Fly List
FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. - Eighteen-month-old Riyanna has been called a lot of things: cute, adorable and now … a suspected terrorist.
She was called that on Tuesday night at the Ft Lauderdale Airport. She and her parents had just boarded a JetBlue flight when an airline employee approached them and asked them to get off the plane, saying representatives from the Transportation Security Administration wanted to speak to them.
“And I said, ‘For what?’” Riyanna’s mother told only WPBF 25 News on Wednesday. “And he said, ‘Well, it’s not you or your husband. Your daughter was flagged as no fly.’ I said, ‘Excuse me?’”
Riyanna’s father was flabbergasted.
“It’s absurd,” he said. “It made no sense. Why would an 18-month-old child be on a no-fly list?”
Riyanna’s parents, who asked not to be identified, said they think they know the answer to that question. They believe they were profiled because they are both of Middle Eastern descent. Riyanna’s mother wears a hijab, a traditional head scarf. That’s why they have asked to remain anonymous. They said they’re concerned about repurcussions. That said, they are both Americans, born and raised in New Jersey, just like their daughter.

NSA Whistleblower Speaks Live: “The Government Is Lying To You”
Just a month ago we raised more than a proverbial eyebrow when we noted the creation of the NSA’s Utah Data Center (codename Stellar Wind) and William Binney’s formidable statement that “we are this far from a turnkey totalitarian state”. Democracy Now has the former National Security Agency technical director whistleblower’s first TV interview in which he discusses the NSA’s massive power to spy on Americans and why the FBI raided his home. Since retiring from the NSA in 2001, he has warned that the NSA’s data-mining program has become so vast that it could “create an Orwellian state.” Today marks the first time Binney has spoken on national TV about NSA surveillance. Starting with his pre-9-11 identification of the world-wide-web as a voluminous problem since the NSA was ‘falling behind the rate-of-change’, his success in creating a system (codenamed Thin-Thread) for ‘grabbing’ all the data and the critical ‘lawful’ anonymization of that data (according to mandate at the time) which as soon as 9-11 occurred went out of the window as all domestic and foreign communications was now stored (starting with AT&T’s forking over their data). This direct violation of the constitutional rights of everybody in the country was why Binney decided he could not stay (leaving one month after 9-11) along with the violation of almost every privacy and intelligence act as near-bottomless databases store all forms of communication collected by the agency, including private emails, cell phone calls, Google searches and other personal data.
There was a time when Americans still cared about matters such as personal privacy. Luckily, they now have iGadgets to keep them distracted as they hand over their last pieces of individuality to the Tzar of conformity.

TSA asks woman to prove her breast pump is real at Lihue Airport
Lihue, HI (KITV) — A Hawaiian mom says she was humiliated when asked to prove her breast pump was real at an airport.
The woman says she was flagged for additional screening at the Lihue Airport Wednesday because of her electric breast feeding pump.
She claims agents told her she couldn’t take the pump on the plane because the bottles in her carry-on were empty.
“I asked him if there was a private place I could pump and he said no, you can go in the women’s bathroom. I had to stand in front of the mirrors and the sinks and pump my breast in front of every tourist that walked into that bathroom. I was embarrassed and humiliated and then angry that I was treated this way.
When the bottles were full, she was allowed back on the plane.
The TSA is apologizing, saying the agent made a mistake.
The agency released a statement, saying in part: “We accept responsibility for the apparent misunderstanding and any inconvenience or embarrassment this incident may have caused her.”
The TSA recently changed screening procedures to allow women to carry breast milk onto planes without testing it.
However, breast pumps may require additional… Continue reading
Lauren Scruggs Tragedy: How Could She Run Into Plane’s Propeller?
While investigators struggle to piece together what happened when model and fashion editor Lauren Scruggs was severely injured after accidentally walking into the propeller of a small plane, one focus will be the pilot of the aircraft, who has been identified as a friend of her and her family.
Kurt Richmond of Frisco, Texas, was the pilot who flew Scruggs above Dallas to view Christmas lights on Saturday night prior to the accident. Although Richmond has not answered repeated requests for an interview, ABC News has learned that the Scruggs family does not blame Richmond for the accident that severed Lauren’s hand and sliced the left side of her face and shoulder. At this point it is still unclear whether she will lose her left eye.
Lauren’s parents Cheryl and Jeff Scruggs said that they believe the 23-year-old walked back toward Richmond’s plane at the private airport north of Dallas to say a final thank you, perhaps as he was preparing to take off again.
While investigators look into the events leading up to the tragic accident, many are speculating as to why the propeller was left running in the first place.… Continue reading
Lenore Zimmerman outraged as TSA denies it strip-searched the 85-year-old Long Island grandmother
The feds on Saturday flatly denied that a 85-year-old Long Island woman was strip-searched at Kennedy Airport, sparking a fresh round of outrage from the already steaming mad granny.
Lenore Zimmerman told the Daily News Friday that security screeners whisked her into a private room and took off all her clothes after she requested a pat down.
A Transportation Security Administration spokesman said “proper procedures were followed” during the Tuesday encounter.
But on Saturday, the TSA went further, saying that a strip search “was not conducted in this case.”
That prompted a furious response from Zimmerman, who has a defibrillator and uses a walker to get around.
“They’re lying to protect their a– because they’re afraid of being sued — and they will be sued,” Zimmerman fumed from her winter home in Coconut Creek, Fla.
“Why would I make up this story?” Zimmerman added. “In my wildest dreams, I couldn’t think of such a thing happening.”
Zimmerman was on her way to a Fort Lauderdale-bound flight when she asked if she could forgo the advance image technology screening equipment, fearing it might interfere with her defibrillator.
“They took me into a private screening room and pulled my pants down and… Continue reading
TSA Body Scan Radiation Exposure- Is it Safe?
Regardless of how you feel about the TSA Body Scans, there is no question that you are being exposed to ionizing radiation each time you are scanned. Just how much radiation is questionable, as government officials insist the dose is minute, yet some scientists argue that the amount of radiation exposure is higher than what manufacturers of the scanning equipment claim.
Radiation exposure is not something to be taken lightly, especially when considering the effects of radiation exposure on young children, not to mention pregnant women.
Dr. Max Gerson, whose pioneering natural method to curing cancer saved countless lives, has stated in his book that the amount of x-ray received by each individual throughout a lifetime should be minimal, as radiation accumulates in the body.
Pilots have been advised to opt out of scans and instead take the ‘pat-down’ as the risk of radiation exposure due to continual scans is deemed as something that could be harmful to their health.
If you are flying and take the Body Scan, then we recommend wearing some personal EMF protection.
